At Smygehuk Fyr, you can make yourself at home in the old Lighthouse Keepers Cottage, with its individually furnished rooms, shared spaces and a little history around every corner.
Or, when the warmer months arrive, settle into one of our simpler, rustic rooms in The Wood Shed.
Nothing too fancy. Just comfortable places to rest, fresh sea air and the freedom to enjoy your stay at your own pace.

At Red Sails, we believe eating out should be about more than what's on your plate. It's about sharing something delicious, enjoying another glass and perhaps staying a little longer than you planned.
In Joanna's kitchen, familiar ingredients sometimes take an unexpected turn. Seasonal flavours, a little imagination and a genuine love of cooking are at the heart of everything we do.
Whether you're joining us for lunch, dinner or one of our special evenings, there's always a place for you around our tables.

Tudehuset –
The Foghorn House
Once home to the foghorn, today Tudehuset is a little place to slow down, enjoy a coffee and perhaps discover something unexpected.
Drop in for a proper Swedish fika, homemade cakes or a scoop of our seasonal ice cream. Browse our collection of local arts, crafts and a few special things from Smygehuk Fyr.
It's also where you'll find our reception, and often the first friendly face welcoming you to the lighthouse.
Find yourself a seat inside or out, take your time and enjoy the surroundings.

A little about us
The faces behind the experience.
We're Joanna and Mick, and together with Sheldon, our four-legged companion, we're the people behind Smygehuk Fyr.
We took over the lighthouse in 2021 with a simple idea: to create somewhere people feel welcome, comfortable and perhaps a little bit at home.
Since then, we've shared countless meals, welcomed guests from near and far, made new friends and created a few traditions along the way.
We love good food, good company and the little things that make a visit memorable. Nothing too complicated, nothing too formal. Just genuine hospitality, a little humour and the occasional bit of chaos.
Whether you're staying for a night, joining us around the table or simply passing through, we hope you'll feel like you're part of the place.
